Who is Eligible for Naturalization?
Naturalization is the way immigrants become citizen. If you are 18 years or older and wish to apply for naturalization, you should use the " Application for Naturalization" (Form N- 400).
If you want to apply for naturalization for a child who is under 18 years old, you should use the " Application for a certificate of Citizenship" ( Form N-600 ). For more information about applying for Citizenship for your children, see questions 25-26 on pages 13-15.
